Another aspect that highlights a contractor’s installation experience, expertise, and quality are how that contractor is judged by other experts in the industry. Whenever a certified contactor applies for an extended NDL warranty, there is a process that is initiated by that manufacturer to insure compliance and quality control.
When the roof is completed, the installation must be inspected by a technical representative for the manufacturer. In general, projects are surveyed, seams are inspected, pictures are taken, and appropriate samples generated. That contactor’s installation is then rated, usually on a scale of 1-10 for things such as adherence to system details, degree of quality, and overall appearance of the finished product.
