Ferguson & Melvin Co. was founded in 1979 as a family-owned business serving the greater Los Angeles area. At that time, we focused primarily on small residential roofing projects for local homeowners. We started with one truck and two installers, working out of a small garage.
Since that time, we have grown to over 25 employees and currently operate out of a 15,000 ft2 company-owned facility. We still offer comprehensive residential roofing services but we are also a full-service commercial roofing contractor, working with building owners, HOA’s, management companies, general contractors, and municipalities. And our roofing business has expanded to sheet metal and solar, as well.
We are centrally located in the San Fernando area and serve much of Southern California, focusing on Los Angeles, with completed projects in Orange and Ventura counties, as well.
Many of our roofers have been with our company for more than 15 years and in the roofing industry for decades. This allows us to stay on the leading edge of roofing technology, as it advances, and at the same time it increases job quality and substantially reduces call-backs. Our vast knowledge and experience allows us the ability to assess every job, large or small, with a unique perspective – there are very few problems we haven’t seen before.
